In the beginning the system consisted of one 220 megahertz ICOM repeater linked to three cross band KENWOOD radios to provide three two meter inputs to the system. It was very hard for many repeater hoppers to understand how they could be talking on a simplex frequency and be coming out on two other simplex frequencies. That’s when someone said, “That is how a worm hole works”, Yea! , Now we have a name for the club! The System Has Grown Up A Lot Since.
We now have three repeaters on line 24 hours a day seven days a week 365 days a year. The repeater is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and is maintained by Dee N4GD.
